The Prince of Peace CES Luke 4:18 club will once again be partnering with the Georgina Food Pantry to assist families in need in our community during this season of Lent.
We will be participating in a Nurturing Hope – Lenten Food Drive from March 29th to April 8th 2022.
On these school days, bins will be placed at the foot of the altar inside the school main entrance and will be gratefully accepted from 8 am until 3:30pm.
Families are encouraged to place a bag of food and/or personal hygiene items in the Food Bank Bins.
Items Requested:
- Canned or dry food items eg. Canned fruit, vegetables, beans, rice, cereal
- Cereals (less than 15g of sugar per serving)
- Rice – brown, basmati, etc.
- Canned fish
- Peanut butter
- Canned vegetables
- All Toiletries
- Gift cards from grocery stores are also being accepted at the school’s office
