POP Remembers – Remembrance Day Ceremony November 8th

The Prince of Peace School Community will be marking Remembrance Day on Thursday, November 8th with a ceremony at 1:00 pm.  Parents are welcome to attend.  We welcome our special guests from the Royal Canadian Legion, who will help us mark this very important 100th Anniversary of the end of World War I.

Prince of Peace Catholic School Council Fundraiser – Orders Due November 13th

Each year, the Catholic School Council undertakes fundraising initiatives to raise money for school activities and materials to enrich our students’ experiences and learning. Hallowe’en Spook-tacular!

On Wednesday, October 31st, we are having a Hallowe’en Dance Spook-tacular! We anticipate a day of fun and festivities with costumes and cool dance moves! We will be using the event as an opportunity to raise funds for Share Life, a Catholic Charity. We ask each student to bring a toonie to support this important charity. Prince of Peace Thanksgiving Food Drive

The Luke 4:18 Committee at Prince of Peace is collecting food items for the Georgina Food Pantry the week before Thanksgiving, October 1st to 5th.  Please send in non-perishable food items on or before Friday.  Among the usual staples, the Pantry has a list of current high-need items, including canned fish, canned vegetables, rice (brown, basmati, etc.), and breakfast cereal (with less than 15 g ...
